Martin’s Lane Wines
Martin’s Lane Vineyard occupies a site probably unrivalled in England for all that is essential to growing the classic grape varieties. Its sheltered south and west facing slopes benefit from the favourable climatic conditions provided by the River Crouch ensuring the optimum conditions for growing the very finest fruit for wine production. Testament to this is provided by the first limited release of these two single estate wines under the Martin’s Lane own label and brand.
2014 Pinot Grigio
This Pinot Grigio wine achieves the heights of the very best examples of this noble grape variety displaying a sublime complexity of fruit flavours most notably apple and pear beautifully balanced with the acidity of citrus to produce a classic Pinot Grigio.
This Pinot Grigio ideally complements poultry, fish and pasta dishes or may be enjoyed as an aperitif.
2013 Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs
An innovative creation by our winemakers this Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs wine fulfils all the berry fruit characteristics of the Pinot Noir grape combining aromas of spice, honey and melon for a rich, smooth and silky wine with great length, balance and structure, a serious wine indeed!
This Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs will complement most red and white meat dishes including game and poultry, but it may equally be enjoyed as an aperitif.
